New laser-cut business cards

I just spent the day working on these laser cut business cards – there is something so satisfying about cutting out my designs and the resulting sweet burnt smell and slightly singed charcoal edges.

I also amassed a huge amount of tiny birds which were cut out from the card designs and I didn’t have the heart to throw them away. So now I have a box of tiny black birds and no idea what to do with them…Answers on a postcard please!

Ooh, pretty! Do you have your own laser cutter? I recently used mine to create little cards to display earrings on (on black card the same as yours) but have yet to use it to create anything as ambitious as your lovely business cards :)

Out of interest, did you remove the charcoal-y bits from the edges, and if so, how..?
