I’ve just finished another HUUUUGE design for McDonalds as part of their ABC campaign. This time I was asked to illustrate the words, ‘We recycle our used cooking oil into bio-diesel for our trucks.’ Here are a few close-ups of my illustration which will be blown up to fit the side of a giant truck! I’ll unveil the final full version very soon.
This year I did a couple of adverts for teen brand Always and they have just launched this cute promo website, Through the eyes of girls. The site, aimed at promoting female creativity, features a little interview with me here and a feature on the hand lettering I designed for their campaign.
I just realised that I have never posted any pictures of this crazy, sandy, strange place that I live. So here is a little (instagram) snapshot of what life looks like in the UAE. Sometimes I hate it (when it is 50 degrees outside and 80% humidity) and sometimes I feel so happy and inspired by the people that I meet and things that I see. Either way, it feels like a big adventure…

I have been working on a lovely project for a new packaging client and it really inspired me to start designing more patterns. As you may know, I live in Middle East right now so I have been feeling inspired by the Islamic patterns and colours of the region and came up with this design in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

I’ve done literary covers, women’s fiction, teen and even the odd historical novel but I had’t designed any erotic fiction books until now!
I was recently commissioned to do the branding for a new shop in Dubai. Smitten boutique is a designer children’s and maternity wear store, just opened in the glitzy Dubai Marina Mall. I created their logo and other illustrations for their branding and packaging.
I have had the pleasure of doing a ton of work for British favourite Marks and Spencers this year. Here is one of the latest in my ‘Jubilee’ range: a shiny silver label for some rather regal beer, complete with union jack bottle top!
